The Egyptian Entomological Society is the oldest continuously operating entomological society in the middle East. It was found on 1 August 1907 by some amateurs of Entomology and natural history , began a serial publication in 1908 until now. The library of the Egyptian Entomological Society housed in the building of the society , includes  a wide selection of current publications , as well as a big collections of 19th century entomological serials and books in middle East. The building s Society also housed a big collection of birds and insects. The library and the collection are available for visitors and Entomology students at any time.  The Society publishes three scientific journal series, “ Bulletin  of  the Entomological Society of Egypt “  Economic series and Memoirs of  the Entomological Society of Egypt.
